What we collect through this website, why, who it goes to, and how to have it deleted. The short version: what you send us, to reply to you — and, only if you accept cookies, how you found us.

Who we are

What we collect

What you type into one of our forms:

Contact: What we ask forYour name, email address, what it’s about, and your message.
Event inquiry: What we ask forYour name, email address, phone number (optional), the kind of event, the date, the number of guests, and your message.
Email list: What we ask forYour email address.

With every form we also record the page you sent it from, the time, your IP address, and the result of our spam check.

If you’ve accepted cookies, we also record how you first reached the site — the ad or link you came from and the first page you saw — and keep it with your form.

Analytics and advertising

There are no accounts on this website and we never ask for payment details here. If you accept cookies, we use Google Analytics to see how the site is used. If you decline, none of them load. The details are in our Cookie Policy.

How we use it

We don’t sell your information, and we don’t share it with anyone for advertising.

Who it goes to

We use a small number of service providers to run the website. Each handles your information only to do its job for us:

Supabase: What it doesStores the forms you send us (our database).
Resend: What it doesDelivers the email that tells us about your message, and the confirmation we send you (for event inquiries, TripleSeat sends it).
TripleSeat: What it doesOur events booking system. Event inquiries are passed to it so our events team can follow up, and it emails you a confirmation.
Cloudflare: What it doesChecks that a form was sent by a person and not a bot (Turnstile).
Vercel: What it doesHosts the website. Like any web server, it keeps request logs that include IP addresses.
Google: What it doesServes the map on our Home and Visit pages.
Google Analytics: What it doesOnly if you accept cookies: measures how the site is used.
Our website developer: What it doesIf a form ever fails to reach us, they’re alerted with its contents so your message isn’t lost.

We may also disclose information when the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep form submissions for as long as we need them to reply to you, run your reservation or event, and keep ordinary business records. Email list addresses stay until you unsubscribe. You can ask us to delete yours at any time.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct or delete the information you’ve sent us. Email info@barchinojc.com and we’ll take care of it. To leave our email list, use the unsubscribe link in any email, or write to us. To change your cookie choice, use “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” at the bottom of any page. If you live in a state that gives you specific privacy rights, including New Jersey, we’ll honor requests made under those laws.

Security

Everything you send through this website travels over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and submissions are stored in a database that only our own systems can write to.

Children

This website isn’t directed to children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their information. If you think a child has sent us something, let us know and we’ll delete it.

Changes

If what this website collects changes, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
